DJ Sledge, aka Cassie Van Zyl, hails from Durbanville, Cape Town. His love for DJing and music production started at the age of 18 and in the year 2000 he created his first track.
Since then he has not stopped and inspired by this love he released his first album, a collection of his best, in the spring of 2010 on Bushmen Records.
His forte is funky house, electro and trance. And he's good at what he does, making people wanna party.

Crabnebula hails from Italy and appeared as a guest artist on Bushmen Records with the release of his album Serendipity. This relese formed part of an ongoing "joint release" collaboration between Bushmen Records and the Italian netalbel, 51beats.

The first virtual band to come out of South Africa and also the first artist to join Bushmen Records are The X-Structure. Hailing from the Cape of Good Hope, on the southern point of Africa, this band of intrepid adventurers and musicians continue to explore both the physical and virtual corners of the world, bringing back their discoveries for your listening pleasure.
Their musical mood and style range from Trip-Hop to Breakbeats, from Experimental to Orchestral, although they don't confine themselves to any particular style or genre but go wherever the music and the adventure takes them.
Having released two albums prior to joining Bushmen Records they are set on creating many more from the inspiration found all around them. Three more albums are already in the making.
